Lexington Management, LLC is property management company with a portfolio of 29 apartment communities across Wisconsin with over 2600 + units…and we’re still growing!

We are looking to add to our onsite leasing staff by hiring a Leasing Specialist for 2 of our locations

The Leasing Specialist is the first step in creating a sense of community for prospective residents. The Leasing Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and using interpersonal skills to create an environment that prospective renters feel comfortable and motivated to rent from. This position reports to the site manager and requires strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions

Things you are responsible for as the Leasing Specialist:

• Meet with prospective residents to show properties, explain terms of occupancy, and provide information about the community
• Maintain showing and waiting list logs
• Suggest rental rate recommendations and know your market and competition
• Take pride in the apartment community, visually inspect and address areas of concern, keep community clean and report service needs to maintenance
• Maintain an organized environment even during busy times
• Handle all move ins of prospective residents along with rent collection and key distribution
• Willing to work flexible schedule including some weekends
• Communicate effectively with residents, future residents, visitors, vendors and team members while presenting a positive, professional image
• Perform additional duties as assigned by corporate office

Thing you need:

• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License
• Two or more years of experience in property management or sales equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including some weekends
• Knowledge of Rent Manager is preferred but not necessary
• A sharp, professional appearance
• Must be able to walk the property which includes climbing stairs
• Able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull, reach, carry supplies and stand for extended periods of time
